Hola! My name is Ana Maria Lieneke. I am the Spanish language teacher at St. James the Greater. I teach Kindergarten through 8th grades. I am a graduate of the University of Lima, Peru. I have been teaching for more than 25 years.
I teach beginning Spanish, including both conversation and vocabulary. I incorporate games, videos, songs, prayers, grammar, and group projects into all of my classes.
I create lesson plans for each individual grade. These lesson plans are designed for different learning levels. Your children will learn how to sing songs and say prayers in Spanish, with an emphasis on Christian meaning and Church doctrine.
My main goal is to give your children the knowledge and skills they will need to know in order to speak Spanish in a fun and enjoyable way!
